What is Jin-Jack?

    Jin is the name of a city girl(town miss), from a middle class family, pretty. She graduated from good university. Worked for global The Fortune 500 companies.

    Jack is the name of a county boy, born in a poor house, ordinary looking. He finished a secondary college. Worked for schools, big company, and his own different small businesses. 

    "-" Means connect, together, support, and respect.

 

 

 

Below is their 22-year-story:

 

    Jack met Jin during his final semester of college, at a small campus neighboring Jin’s huge university.

    They only had a few chances to spend time together before the SARS pandemic broke out. All students were locked up in their own campuses.

    After 2 months shut down, schools reopened. But then it was time for Jack to leave school. He had to go to work in a very far away city.

    He asked Jin if she was willing to be his girlfriend.

 

 

• Jin agreed, without asking.

 

 

    In the coming summer holiday, Jack invited Jin to visit his home to see his parents.

     When Jin finally reached Jack's village, she was shocked to find out how landlocked that place was, and how miserable that family looked.

    Jack might not asked Jin if she would continue their relationship.

    But the result was:

 

 

• Jin stayed, without asking.

 

 

    In the following two years, Jack went to work in a school to earn salaries to pay his debt (his family borrowed a lot of money to support his schooling).

    Jin stayed in her university to finish her degree. 

    During holidays, Jack invited Jin to come to visit his workplace.

    Jin had to stand in a crowded, stuffy, clanging train, over 24 days. 

 

 

• Jin travelled to Jack, without asking.

 

 

    After graduation, Jin received a job offer from one of the top global Fortune 500 companies. Her job was allocated into one of the best cities.  

    Jack told Jin that he would resign his school job and came to stay with her.

 

 

• Jin accepted Jack, without asking.

 

 

    They spent about five years together in that city.

    Jack firstly found a job. Then he lost it. He travelled back to his old working place to start a so-imagined-business. He quickly failed.

    Jack came back, with a hope to work for his previous employer again. But he was refused. Now, then, he had nothing left. 

    Jack looked at Jin who was still beside him, and asked should they get married?

 

 

• Jin married Jack, without asking.

 

 

    After marriage, Jack went to another business town to look to do something.

    Jin stayed in that city to continue her career in  a Fortune 500 company.

    Fairly soon, Jack worked out something in the new town, but he needed hands to help. 

    Jack asked Jin if she would come to join him to work out a business together.

 

 

• Jin joined Jack, without asking.

 

 

    Jack decided to use JIN-JACK as their company name.

    They registered the business and started to work together. 

    Jin didn’t like that small, noisy, crowded, busy town. But,

 

 

• Jin worked with Jack, without asking.

 

 

    They run their business in that town. They both worked hard, especially Jin. 

    They were finally able to settle down in that town. And had  - four beautiful kids.

     After 14 years in that busy town, they decided to move back to the once Jin and Jack beautiful city, mainly for kids schooling.

 

 

• Jin moved with Jack, without asking.

 

 

    Then COVID pandemic came. It changed things dramatically.

    After a few years in that beautiful city, Jack decided to go to a new, far away place, for something new. 

    Jin needed to stay, to take care of the family, as well as the business.

 

 

• Jin supported Jack, without asking.

 

 

    Maybe, some time later, Jin will join Jack again, with their four pretty little ones, in the wildness of a new continent.

    She might be astonished to find out how life can be struggling in the new place. 

    What will Jin do this time?

    You may wonder what this Jack is? Well, to me, this Jack is foolish, selfish, stupid, stubborn, never stop working and trying.

 

    This is the so-far-story of Jin-Jack: Un-reasonable, un-thinkable, un-explainable, un-stoppable. 

 

 

    This trade mark is to thank this Jin, and all the other JINs who support, care, and love their partners, families, neighbors... without asking. (here should be some tears)
